This policy explains how the eSIMWAYZ website and mobile app collect, use and protect your data. By using the website or the app you agree to this policy.
Who we are
eSIMWAYZ sells travel eSIMs and is operated by Al-Jawab Al-Electroni for Software Solutions (الجواب الإلكتروني للحلول البرمجية), based in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. For privacy questions: info@esimwayz.com or WhatsApp +962795599875.
Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and password (stored hashed; we cannot read it).
- Order data: the plans you buy, amounts, purchase dates, your eSIM details (ICCID and activation code), data usage, and the email the eSIM is sent to.
- Payment data: payments are made through PayPal. We never receive or store your card number; we keep only the payment reference and its status.
- App device data: a random installation ID created by the app, the push notification token from Google Firebase, the operating system, the app language and your notification choices.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form or refund requests.
- Technical data: IP address and server logs, for security and fraud prevention.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or files, we show no ads, and we do not use the advertising ID.
How we use your data
- To fulfil your orders and issue and deliver your eSIMs.
- To send order emails and notifications (eSIM ready, data running low, plan ending).
- For customer support and refund requests.
- To protect your account and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
- To send offers and news, which you can turn off at any time in the app's notification settings or by contacting us.
Who we share data with
We never sell or rent your data. We share only what is needed with service providers working on our behalf:
- PayPal: to process payments.
- Our eSIM provider: to issue the eSIM you bought.
- Google Firebase: to deliver notifications to your phone.
- Email and hosting providers: to send emails and run the website.
We may disclose data when required by law.
Security
All data travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and access to data is limited to the few staff members who need it.
Retention and account deletion
- We keep your account data while your account exists.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account), from your account page on the website, or by email. Details are on the Delete your account page.
- On deletion we immediately remove your name, email, phone number and password, end all sessions, and the account can no longer be used.
- Order and invoice records (plan, amount, date and the email used for the purchase) are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting, then deleted.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, and stop offers. Write to info@esimwayz.com and we will reply within 7 business days.
Children
Our services are intended for people aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Cookies
The website uses cookies for sign-in, your language and your basket. You can refuse them in your browser settings, but parts of the website may not work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time and show the date of the last update on this page. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app.
